After a long trial period, Zendesk made Apple’s Business Chat in Messages accessible to all customers.

“Apple Business Chat makes it easier for customers to message you than to call, which helps drive engagement at a lower cost,” Zendesk says in a announcement on his site. “With more options and self-service tools to deliver personalized experiences, you can unlock new revenue streams while bringing CX [Customer Experience] at the top level. “

This means for Zendesk customers that these companies can now provide online help where their users want it most. For those users, that means being able to message support as easily and conveniently as they could to a friend.

Apple Business Chat also integrates this support with other iOS features. For example, from Messages, a business support representative can offer phone numbers, for example, to local stores. This information can also be displayed on Apple Maps.

“[You can deliver] an interactive messaging experience with advanced messaging capabilities such as picklists, date and time pickers, and custom iMessage apps, ”Zendesk explains.

Apple Business Chat is available to customers on Zendesk’s Sunshine Conversations plan, which starts at $ 495 per month. The service was launched in the United States by Apple as part of iOS 11.3 in 2018, and has been expanding to more companies and countries since.
